Friday December 1st
We headed down to St. Patrick’s Day Brewing company – well…because this place rocks. The outside does not look anything like a brewery – not that any look the same, but it definitely has its own character. During the summertime – you can’t beat the patio, live music, and the beers. We had the coffee lager to fire up the caffeine this evening, and it did not disappoint. They have ping pong, TV’s, live music – there was a bluegrass band playing right as we left and headed to Boggy Draw
Boggy Draw is the ultimate hunting, merica theme. Unfortunately, not one of my favorite breweries in Denver, but we had a nice Hef. Also the staff is always very very pleasant. They have a large projector for games and MMA fights as well.
I’ve been working 6AM shifts on Saturdays – so we called the evening and got ready for a fun Saturday evening.
Saturday December 2nd
We started our evening at Land Locked Ales – though the beer was very good (we’ve been here a handful of times) the food truck was so good. Dirty ass, greasy delight. My favorite part of this brewery was when Kim air dropped a photo for me, to the older lady next to me. Luckily it was just of the food, but we got a serious laugh out of it.
We headed up to Arvada, CO to see a buddy of mine, and stopped by Odyssey Brewing Company. First, their Holiday Game was on point! They have one of my favorite Hef’s on tap – but I went for the Oh Snap Spiced Winter Ale. I usually don’t care for these, but dang was it good! Kim had the Hef – which did not disappoint.
Sunday December 3rd
We headed down to Castle Rock because – it felt like the right thing to do. We hit up a coffee shop that had cheap bloodies called the crowbar. Not the best bloody, but they were 3$ each – off to some holiday brewery shopping. As we left the Crowbar – we spotted a blow up advertisement that was improperly placed…or properly placed depending on how weird you are..
We began the day at 105 West Brewing Company – the beer flight was okay, but they have an amazing peanut butter and hazelenut beer called DEEZ NUTZ…uh – we got the crowler..check…and…damn!! Another cool thing about this brewery is they don’t accept tips. Any money left is donated to charity. Pretty rad to donate!!
Lone tree has blown up in Denver over the last many years. They make an array of great beer and there tap room is pretty cool. Kim and I always get the Toasted Coconut Brown – So delicious – so good – sooo yum!
Living the Dream Brewing Company
Finally living the Dream Brewing Company in Highlands Ranch – we both enjoyed the raspberry Belgian Ale – which was delicious – I love there swag and logo too! Cheers to next weekend!
